Rachael Jolley is Head of Communications, Website Editor and Editor of the Fabian blog, www.nextleft.org. Before joining the Fabian Society, Rachael Jolley worked for 10 years as a journalist and has traveled everywhere from Kazakhstan to Chicago on assignments. She has written for The Guardian, The Times, the London Evening Standard, the New Statesman and The Daily Telegraph as well as Shelter's Roof magazine, and her book on the euro and its implications, was published by the Financial Times. She also edited Business Traveller Middle East magazine for two years. She recently wrote a series of articles for the New Statesman on the US election. Rachael has an MA in International Relations and Development from the University of East Anglia.
For the Fabians, Rachael was a researcher on Born Unequal, the pre-birth project, in 2006 and on the political parties project in 2007 and was part of the Fabian equality project with Tom Hampson.
