Cooper says demand for more homes cannot be ignored PDF Print E-mail
Housing minister Yvette Cooper, in a lecture as part of the Fabian 'Next Decade' series, argued that the government must tackle the rising demand for homes in the UK.

Cooper considered the changing housing market, the UK's increasing population of pensioners and the environmental challenges for the housing industry. The lecture examined the role of housing in alleviating inequality amongst Britain's children and its impact on the health, wealth and social mobility of the next generation.
