The Fabian events programme hosts some of the most prominent public events in British politics. We hold major conferences, lectures and public debates and small invitation only expert policy seminars, including our prestigious Fabian Policy Networks working with a wide range of partner organisations. The events programme can be viewed here , or in our online calendar.
Jemima Olchawski is Events Director, Fatima Hassan,Rosie Clayton and Richard Lane are Events Managers and Ian Chapman is our Events Assistant. Please contact the Events Team with ideas for future Fabian events and to discuss partnership opportunities.
The Fabian Society ran an extensive programme of fringe events at this year's Labour Party Conference in Manchester.
Our headline public events are among the most prominent events of the conference fringe, providing a forum for the political debates that delegates want to have, and a chance to hear A-list speakers discussing the most pressing issues of the moment.
See below for our podcast from the fringe this year.
Our policy roundtables are the format in which we undertake most of our substantive policy discussions. Expert participants debate emerging policy trends and ideas and interrogate key players in an invited forum of their peers.
This year's Fabian conference fringe programme started the debates we need to shape the next Labour manifesto.
