Sidney Blumenthal In Conversation With Jonathan Freedland PDF Print E-mail

The World After Bush: The Strange Death of Republican America

Tuesday 27th May 2008, 6.30pm for a 7pm start - 8.30pm

sidney_blumenthal_-_photo_by_robert_goddyn__2006_-_titchy_small.jpgContinuing the Fabian's World After Bush series, former Guardian columnist and Clinton White House advisor Sidney Blumenthal was joined by the Guardian's Jonathan Freedland as he launched his new book, The Strange Death of Republican America: Chronicles of a Collapsing Party, published in June.

This was a unique and timely opportunity to hear Sidney’s trenchant critique of the Republican Party and the Bush Administration and to get an insider’s perspective on the current campaign, as the Democrats look to move on from an endlessly fascinating primary season and take back the White House.

The event took place place at the Jeffrey Hall, Institute of Education, 20 Bedford Way, London WC1H 0AL
