The integration of health and social care was "going to
absolutely dominate politics for the next twenty years" and required an
innovative approach, said Geoff Mulgan, former Number 10 policy director at a Fabian health seminar.
Mulgan called for "an experimental and evolutionary
model of change".
Professor Julian LeGrand, Mulgan and Mary Creagh MP joined a
discussion to mark the 60th anniversary of the NHS, discussing the big
picture health policy themes for the next 30 years.
This round table policy seminar was led by Geoff Mulgan (Young Foundation) with respondents Professor Julian LeGrand (LSE) and Mary Creagh MP (Chair of Labour Manifesto Group on Public Health), chaired by Sunder Katwala.
