Announcement

Sasjkia’s work covers technology, labour markets and ageing.

She joined the Fabian Society in 2022 from the civil service, where she worked across Whitehall and internally – inviting, legislating and convening to ensure everybody across the UK sees the benefits of digital technologies.

Before joining the civil service, she worked as a futurist – advising blue chip companies on four continents on technological and social trends across sectors including health, energy, financial services, transport and media.

In her spare time, she is active in her community. She was a Parliamentary candidate in the 2024 General Election, is the founder of a democracy-building civic tech initiative and has served as trustee for an anti-poverty charity.
