For our launch event of Fabian Thinking Live, we were delighted to welcome Anneliese Dodds MP. Fresh from her trip to COP30 she sat down with Head of Editorial Iggy Wood to discuss how we can confront the climate emergency amid rising denialism in the UK and internationally. In light of recent cuts to aid spending, she also reflected on the future of international development and the UK’s role in supporting developing nations.

Anneliese also explored how aid can most effectively tackle poverty, strengthen global partnerships and help deliver international climate goals, as well as how development policy can serve the national interest.
