Posted by Fabian Society on Samstag, 18. November 2017
Our AGM is an opportunity for all members to have their say on the direction of the Fabian Society and ask about our work. We will host a discussion ahead of the formal business of our AGM.
This year’s panel discussion will be The Year in Review: Twelve months of British politics.
A snap-general election, the triggering of Article 50, terrorist attacks, Grenfell Tower and President Trump; in the time since the Fabian Society AGM 2016 the UK has faced many challenges and the political landscape has shifted dramatically in ways few would have expected. This event will look back over the past twelve months in British politics and reflect on this historic year.
Speakers include: Tulip Siddiq MP (Hampstead & Kilburn), Kate Green MP (Stretford & Urmston), Julie Ward MEP (North West region), Deborah Mattinson (founder, BritainThinks), Maya Goodfellow (freelance writer), & Andrew Harrop (Fabian Society general secretary).
