2018-19 was a busy year for the Fabian Society. Our high-profile events with leading politicians Gordon Brown, Mayor Andy Burnham, Tom Watson MP and shadow cabinet members Emily Thornberry MP, Jonathan Ashworth MP and Angela Rayner MP saw us make key interventions in public policy debates.

We launched projects on reforming social security, public finance choices for the left, and on technology and the changing world of work.

We also published a number of reports on the impact of austerity on arts education in primary schools, inequalities in the tax system, reforming the immigration system and more.
