Bluecoat Liverpool

Technology is transforming how we work, access services and connect with our communities. But its benefits will only be fully realised if every part of the country has the skills, infrastructure and opportunities to take part.

As Labour devolves more power to local leaders, government is also investing in digital inclusion and helping councils use new technology and AI to improve local services.

This panel will explore how local communities can harness the digital revolution to tackle inequality, improve public services and deliver change from the ground up.

Speakers:

  • Vicky Foxcroft MP – Minister for Youth, Gambling, Digital Inclusion, Civil Society and Loneliness
  • Nancy Doyle-Hall – Executive Director, Virgin Money Foundation
  • Tamara Dewhirst – Head of Public Affairs and Strategic Engagement, Nationwide
  • Dr Emma Stone – Director of Evidence and Engagement, Good Things Foundation
  • Nicola Wallace Dean – Founder, Starting Point Stockport
  • Sasjkia Otto – Senior Researcher, Fabian Society
