AI Hackathon
Building Consensus on the Future of Work
In Partnership with Multiverse
Tuesday 29 September 2026
11:15 – 12:15
Delivered in partnership with Multiverse, this interactive session will combine a live AI product demonstration with a panel discussion and audience Q&A. Bringing together policymakers, politicians, third-sector leaders, AI experts and local government representatives, it will explore how AI can boost productivity while ensuring workers have the skills, support and opportunities they need to thrive.
The session will culminate a two-day hackathon, where Liverpool-based Multiverse apprentices will develop an AI solution to a real-world policy challenge. Following a live demonstration of their solution, the panel will discuss practical steps to accelerate AI adoption while delivering fairer outcomes for workers, employers and public services.
