Pressing Reset: Our Future with the EU – Launch

Share

Publication launch
A decade ago, the British electorate narrowly voted to leave the EU. It was a decision of generational significance, predicated, in large part, on a picture of splendid isolation that has turned out to be false. It is now clear that Britain is less prosperous and more isolated; a nation not renewed but diminished.
In an increasingly uncertain world – and with public opinion in favour of greater cooperation – now is the time to revisit our relationship with our European allies.
This event – organised by the Fabian Society and Labour Movement for Europe – and hosted by Stella Creasy MP, will bring together the authors of our recent edited collection – Pressing Reset – Our future with the EU.
The event will discuss what a new relationship with Europe might look like, and how we can build this together.
