On the 16 June 2018 the Scottish Fabians will host a conference in Edinburgh featuring a keynote speech from Gordon Brown and sessions on Brexit, equality and the future of Labour in Scotland.

Keynote speaker: Gordon Brown

Gordon Brown served as UK Prime Minister from 2007-2010. Gordon previously served as Chancellor of the Exchequer from 1997-2007 and served as MP for Dunfermline East and later for Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath. Since leaving office Gordon has played a prominent role in both the Scottish Independence referendum and the European Union referendum. In 2017 Gordon released his autobiography – My Life, Our Times.

Gordon will be joined by speakers from across the left, including: Lesley Laird MP (shadow Scottish secretary), Ian Murray MP, Daniel Johnson MSP, Catherine Stihler MEP and many more.
