Georgie Nel – FWN Mentoring Programme Coordinator and Communications Officer
Since, joining the Fabian Society in 2023, Georgie has supported more than 80 women to realise their potential through the Fabian Women’s Network Political and Public Life Mentoring Programme.
Georgie Nel brings a wealth of experience across politics, media and communications to her role on the programme. Before moving into politics, Georgie built a distinguished career at BBC News as a national and international journalist covering major events including Brexit, the fall of Kabul and the Ukraine War.
