Monday 28 18.45 – 19.45 From social media influencers to online communities, the ‘manosphere’ is shaping how some young men and boys think about masculinity, relationships and women, with growing concern about the spread of misogyny online. The Labour government is strengthening education on healthy relationships, online harms and misogyny, alongside its wider work to tackle violence against women and girls. This panel will explore why young men are being drawn towards the manosphere, how its influence can be challenged, and how we can offer boys a more positive vision of masculinity. Speakers:
