This session will explore what it will take to unlock the UK’s electricity grid and build the infrastructure needed for a cleaner, more flexible and resilient energy system. It will consider the role of storage, transmission and distribution networks, rising demand from housing, industry and data centres, and how major infrastructure projects can be delivered at pace while securing public consent and benefits for local communities.
