However, now there is growing political momentum to establish a genuine “parity of esteem” between technical and academic routes, ensuring that all forms of education are recognised as pathways to success.
This panel will explore how parity can be achieved, examining the reforms needed to strengthen the apprenticeships system, encourage more young people into vocational training and build closer links between education providers and employers.
