We are pleased to invite you to attend the inaugural meeting of the Leeds Fabian Society. The meeting will elect positions such as chair, secretary, treasurer and three representatives including a womens’ delegate and a youth delegate. If you are interested in applying for these positions, please email johnrdedwards@gmail.com with a brief description of why you fit the role. All applicants’ applications will be distributed on the night and voted on during the event.

We have some fantastic speakers for the evening where the theme will be Brexit. Speakers include Hilary Benn MP (Labour MP, Leeds Central & chair, Brexit select committee) and Dr Sophia Price (head of politics and international relations, Leeds Beckett University) and Andrew Harrop (general secretary, Fabian Society).
